can any one tell me why hes playing verdant catacombs? hes not playing black it seems like a free 1 damage for his opponents when he could just run 4 forests
@JohnPaulCarver8 like other fetchlands, it helps thin the deck. If you crack a fetchland, then you have less a chance of drawing a land (which would be a blank) on your turn, when you should be drawing more action.
@MATTierial The deck thinning from fetches is so marginal that it isn't worth it at all. The real reason he is using the fetches is it allows him to grab breeding pool or a regular forest.
@Addede Sounds like a plan, I hope Wizards notices this. Rich's explanations can sometimes be tiresome. People who watch PT videos generally know what transmute is :\
