When I was a small boy... I remember going to the video shop with my parents (how antiquated does the name video shop seem now?!) and just seeing the cover of this film on the shelf set my mind racing and scared me. Funny now you can go out and buy VHS tapes for pennies at charity shops.
@SethHesio same here, exactly! there was a mom and pop video shop up the street and i used to walk thru the horror section and wince at stuff like this and the chucky movies when i was like 5. lol, back then horror movies were pretty creepy, not just torture porn like today.

I really enjoyed this film.It had a sort of dark faerie tale feel to it.The old couple was awesome,and it had a good moral.This movie should have gotten more attention than it did.
the old man says that noone wants special dolls anymore. actually he hides something in this sentence. the truth is that his special dolls are humans turned into dolls to be trapped forever as his dolls. the old man and his wife are witches
