@solveig42 – while I don’t speak for i4c, I do appreciate your points re: specificity and directness. However, I don’t think the intended message was “complete woman = entrepreneur”. It’s my understanding that the video is simply meant to serve as inspiration and encouragement for those women who wish to enter the entrepreneurial space.

Please, address people genuinly with what you really want to say. Don't prey on people's affection with the imposed ideas they didnt break free from yet. If you want more female entrepreneurs, or most probably economic growth in general, express that instead of this. All details in this video, visual and auditive, are aesthetically and narratively made just so that afterwards you are left with a barely noticable sentiment in the lines of 'to be a strong, complete woman = to be an entrepreneur'.

Wonderful, inspiring video.

I'm concerned though: the budget cuts the UK are experiencing have been shown to affect woman more than men, because they focus on industries that have a higher percentage of women.

Also, since 2007 findings have been that the gender pay gap is widening, not closing.

What that tells me is that women still have to fight for equality. And we will!
