I no longer lift my head, that was the very 1st time ever shooting any gun period. Since then I now have a Mosin Nagant, Marlin 60, Bersa Thunder 380, Makarov CZ82, and a Mossberg 500 Persuader
First off that is my plinking gun the numbers dont match and it is a russian capture. I have a 1942 k98 in orginal condtion that is better then this one i kept for collecting. The bi pod can come off and the hold filled with a dowl pin if i choose and know one would notice. I didnt want it to be tactical cool i could give a fuck about whats cool i wanted to shoot this rifle at a long distance and have fun doing it using WW2 ammo to see if i could.
Try to keep the tongue 1st of all it's not mine....2nd you could not hit a house at 600 iron sighting while standing a K98. We did iron sight a garand though.
Good shooting, At 600 yds, I would need weather balloons to hit them. If I take as long as you take between shots, the balloons would have shot me dead or they would have walked up on me and club me with their helium tanks. :) :)
@himmler251 I know man it pisses me off. With that new shit go ahead but. If it is an older gun leave it be and if it has iron sights just...........leave it
@himmler251 My k98k is staying EXACTLY the way it is 1944 k98k issued to a panzer division. I dont ruin history. Even my mosin 9130 and m44, arisaka type99, vz24, and my cz82 and cz52 all have history to them. They were ment to be used the way they came. If you get a LEGIT sniper either mosin, mauser, springfield keep it but dont go mounting bipod and ncstar scopes! They are pieces of history not hunting rifles!!
Some friendly advice as a former precision longrange specialist! while shooting you are lifting your head off the rifle. Stay in place look through your scope all the way through the shot, only take your eyes off the target when making adjustments. If possible make adjustments while still maintaining sight on target. Happy shooting! great rifle by the way...
