  • canada always have made big succesful planes, de havilland twin otter, beaver, dash 8 ! its true

  • @aAIRCANADA806

Agreed, we made some great planes. See my other videos. One in a Beaver off Richardson Bay in California....

Would love to fly in a Norsman. Wonder if any are still in the air?

  • Theres one that flies out of CYQF once and awhile

  • @altstiff buffalo airways in Yellowkinfe still has a flying Norseman!

  • @vac4231 Yeah? That would be cool! I know they have an old Buffalo Normans out front the aviation museum at the Edmonton City Airport.

  • and that the engines look like they r going really slow

  • how was it being that the engines r right there?

  • Is JAZZ a good airline ???

  • @FSim4ever Yea, they're awesome. They have very freindly staff and cool planes! I've had a nice experience with Jazz.

  • @FSim4ever yes

  • 3:32 i didnt think they went that slow :) :) :)

    just kidding

  • how come they look like they are going so slow?

  • no clue?

  • Because they are spinning so fast.

  • ive always been scared of prop planes..i always feel like the prorps will rip off and break into the fuselage and chop me in half

  • at 2:25 that is some nice green canadian land!!! :)

  • Es ce que quelqun cest la vitesss ;) datterissage du Dash 8 300 merci...Ps super vidéo

  • k question: anyone else notice that the runway looks funny? looks like its a bunch of squares or rectangles...... why have i only seen the concrete in edmonton looking so ...deifferent ( with all the beautiful rectangles)

  • A lot of older airports have square-grid tarmacs, taxiways and runways. The old Edmonton/Namao Air Base (CYED) is mostly square-grid surface as well.

  • calgary is like that to and so are many other airports. Maybe some alusions affect you.

  • @drummerkid69

It's made like that to reduce stress to movement and maneuvering areas caused by the extreme temperature difference between winter and summer in Edmonton (which is around 65-75 degrees celsius).

  • how long was this flight.

  • About 40 mins....

  • @altstiff lol u say it with boredom :P

  • Dash 8s rule

  • im from edmonton and air canada lost my lauggage on christmas when i was going to thailand

  • Don't feel bad: I'm from Seattle and took an Air Canada 8-300 from Calgary to Edmonton last November. They lost my bag, too! But they hand-delivered it to my hotel room 4 hours later.

  • excellent video..good job!!!

  • naa it isnt

  • i love flyin' in dash-8s.....specially q400s....fave plane.... its fun to fly in dash 8s cuz the props look like there hardly moving!

  • More so due to my digital camera. It only does 30 frames a second so things at VERY hi speed look, well, SLOW!
