The host migration thing might be that they change host mid game if lags really bad but he doesnt get kicked. Many times ive seen host mirgration and noone got kicked
that clan tag bullshit was annoying as fuck. The worst was when every one of your teammates had them and all stood in front of you when you were trying to shoot someone but you were completely and utterly screened by annoying xbox button clan tags!
ive done the melee jump before by accident and actualy got the turn on the guy because before he act i had the kill(i was suprised but i stil reacted)

@DarkDyllon there is some countries with seriosly sick connection... sweden (my home country) can have up too 200 MB per second! i have 120 and get to be the suckass host every game..

I like to keep my W/L ratio up but I can't control it when I join a game and it's right at the end and I'm on the losing team and couldn't do anything to stop my team losing, I think you should have to be in the match from the beginning or for a sertain ammount of time before it counts your game as a win or loss.
@CpSMoNsTeRzZ I think they should only have deathstreaks that really help the player on the deathstreak and not to punish the people on the other team because the whole point of deathstreaks is to help you, I think it should be Juiced and Copycat at 3 deaths Hollow points at 4 deaths and Final Stand and Painkiller (Painkiller not being so overpowered) at 5 deaths, also they could put some new deathstreaks in the game like one that makes you immune to all enemy killstreak rewards.
I wish they would make a great game that didnt need patches MW3 was kinda a fail at first. Ex: Elite was unstable for at least a month and for some they are still having problems.

The only people they care about, are the ones who bought their game. And again, a lot(Read. A. Lot) of people out there cannot(Read. Can. Not) get internet with blazing fast speeds. So in order to keep those players happy, so they will keep buying their games, they need to incorporate Lag Comp. in order to make the game fair for them.

Last I checked, winning was (supposed to be) based on a players/teams skill, not who has the fastest internet connection. Dead man's hand? That's a pretty silly solution to a much larger problem. My KD isn't the issue - a never ending, unpleasant gaming experience is the issue! "Lag compensation" is just a cheap way to fix an issue that is undeniably universal with respect to the Cod community...
@SevenFootPelican I think you should listen to Chubz.. I mean the reason CoD doesn't do dedicated servers is simply because it's so popular.. Why fix what isn't broke? And if they did do dedicated servers then they would have to essentially double the amount of servers they have every year, to serve the new Cod that comes out. Also, if they put in dedicated servers, custom games and 1v1s would go out the window...

@puffinthekush I agree... The spawns are pretty horrid at times.. But I think it's not so much the spawn system, as much as the size and layout of the maps.
lag compensation is dumb... if you can't afford a decent internet connection then you deserve to die... simple as that... why should people who pay money for a good connection be forced to be dragged down to other's level?
@SevenFootPelican Maybe its the player matching system. It's not skill based, so people are just put together, regardless of where they live. If the host is in like New York, and everyone else living in Europe, they're gonna get 2 bars or whatever, purely due to distance, even if they did have like Fibre Optic internet or something
The reason people don't deserve to die because they cant afford good internet connections is because of the fact they don't live in they're Mothers basement, also it warms my heart to see people liking the unfair advantage they get for living in they're mothers/fathers/legal guardians basement over people who are hardworking males/females and are just trying to have an enjoying and fair experience.

One thing IW really need to sort out is joining games late. Because im forever joining games were the opposite side need 3 more dog tags or 3 kills to win its really annoying, but i dont think i should get the defeat impact on my stats.
Woody you probably won't see this but there has been a major problem with the older xbox 360s not being able to read MW3. I'm one of those victims and I've read plenty of forums about it and I can't seem to find a solid solution (besides buying a whole new xbox). this game pisses me the fuck off I got fast cable internet for a reason so regardless if I was host or not I didn't have too much of a lag problem now it seems whether I'm host or not the games unplayable not every match but most matches compensating lag is the dumbest idea in online gaming period all games prior to black ops played fine

I dont like this patch here is why me nd my bf have ps3 one each we play mw3 all the time but when we try to get into a party we can but when we try to find a match it makes us sit at the lobby nd never finds a sutable match.... before the patch we could get into any lobby with no problem but now it wont let us we have awesome internet i just dont understand why its doing this now i want it fixed! we enjoy playing mw3 together
Activision makes over a billion bucks in 16 days and they still claim that it cost too much to give us dedicated servers. BF3 didn't make nearly as much money and they support servers Xbox, PS3 & PC.
i think the host migration makes it so if the next picked host dashboards so they can get out of it, the game will try again instead of idling and just giving up.

I can't take mw3 seriously because there is no score per minute like it was in black ops. I don't play for KD I play for a decent Score per minute (say over 300 on gw domi)
the prevent stat loss doesnt work they gotta make a bit more fixes to it because just yesterday i got kicked from a game and somehow i got disconnected from xbox live connected back n i lost 3 lvls and some guns than i was like ok... i played again got disconnected n lost a few more lvls so i was like ta fuccck! t(-_-)t

..an been in this black screen with nothing coming up for about 2/3 mins

It's the fucking least that a multi-million dollar gaming franchise such as Call of Duty could implement in order to compensate for lag. There's no reason whatsoever that someone from the East coast should be forced to game with someone all the way from the West coast.

The only people they care about, are the ones who bought their game. And again, a lot(Read. A. Lot) of people out there cannot(Read. Can. Not) get internet with blazing fast speeds. So in order to keep those players happy, so they will keep buying their games, they need to incorporate Lag Comp. in order to make the game fair for them.

@SevenFootPelican Another thing, you're complaining that Lag Comp. is putting you on the same level as the other players. What's the matter? Can't win without host advantage? Last I checked, winning was (supposed to be) based on a players/teams skill, not who has the fastest internet connection. Lag Comp. does nothing more than remove unfair advantages that come with being host. The better players still win.

Dead man's hand? That's a pretty silly solution to a much larger problem. My KD isn't the issue - a never ending, unpleasant gaming experience is the issue! "Lag compensation" is just a cheap way to fix an issue that is undeniably universal with respect to the Cod community...

@SevenFootPelican I think you should listen to Chubz.. I mean the reason CoD doesn't do dedicated servers is simply because it's so popular.. Why fix what isn't broke? And if they did do dedicated servers then they would have to essentially double the amount of servers they have every year, to serve the new Cod that comes out. Also, if they put in dedicated servers, custom games and 1v1s would go out the window...

If the host is in like New York, and everyone else living in Europe, they're gonna get 2 bars or whatever, purely due to distance, even if they did have like Fibre Optic internet or something

I dont like this patch here is why me nd my bf have ps3 one each we play mw3 all the time but when we try to get into a party we can but when we try to find a match it makes us sit at the lobby nd never finds a sutable match.... before the patch we could get into any lobby with no problem but now it wont let us we have awesome internet i just dont understand why its doing this now i want it fixed! we enjoy playing mw3 together

@xFPSmike 1 I didn't want attention,I was stating my opinion. If I wanted attention I would have made an arrow to the knee joke. The fmg may have more range,but the kick is dreadful. I stopped using it cuz it's only good for close range,and the pp90m1 is good for close and long,if u do 1 shot at a time to reduce recoil. Also the type95 still doesn't seem overpowered to me. If u take 3 shots to the chest,you're dead in real life. If u take 3 to the legs in real life,odds are your legs will be br
