There's still good music out there - you're only being exposed to the mainstream artists. There are so many great indie bands. I'm 35 and about the median age here. Yeah, the 80's were good, but there was a lot of crap music too - just like every generation has. As for the kids who act black, it's part of the scene that you don't understand. Just let them enjoy their music, as you expect to be left alone with your tastes. Diversity is the spice of life.

I have always loved this song but I have to say this. Hearing this for the first time on the radio years back, I heard a "radio version" in which the song ends with "I wish that I could be yours", just like the first verse. As opposed to just the, "I wish that I could give you more..." Would give anything to have a mp3 version of that. Anyone know where to find it?
