How long do you dehydrate for? What dehydrator do you have? I bought one but it has no temp setting, and they tell you to blot everything dry but you're doing a marinade here. I'm thinking the one I bought is too cheap and It might be better to save for a better one.

@FaithSama it's an Excalibur and if I were to do it over I'd get a 9 try (the biggest) I have a 5 tray. We usually dehydrate about 14 hours. You know when they are done when they are crispy. :)

The guy seems to be concentrating and trying not to make a mess. Don't tell me that getting him a larger bowl to mix the kale in will burn her hands also! She's bossing him around. Why doesn't she put on some gloves and do it herself. Anyway, it sounds good, with all that garlic. This sounds like the concoction I will try first after having seen so many kale chip recipes on youtube.

The poor wife is trying to be nice and encouraging, but he's remains gruff and cunty--she deserves better, but I bet he exploits her insecurites so that she thinks she'll never find better if she left him. although I use my dehydrator, I say absolutely! whatever works....sure the nutritional value is better with deydrated, but the way I look at it is it sure beats a bag of doritos! ;-) nothing has to be perfect, do what you can with what you have AND that will keep you eating healthy...it's all a process ;-)
