Sorry I couldn't be there but Uncle Sam had me occupied on the other side of the country at the time. I had to be content with the local radio station WDAK Columbus Georgia.

saw them back in 72,cant remember what they played I was too fuckin stoned, but did have a good f in time.
Baririe was there he spoke to us befor ethe show, some ither guys from the band too,but cant remember.I think it was Jeffery, not sure, chaps were cool and friendly.good pot was on hand!
@RichieEastside of course its a matter of opinion, but YES 's Steve Howe would be an arguable contender IMO I think a live version of Roundabout is on YT do check it pretty badass. Peace.
@assweaverproductions oh that's not fair... Keith Moon had one hell of a hook... just ask Pete Townshend. The only thing ringo star, he had a hook... a hook nose.
Thank you for that. If it's okay with you I will now officially consider that to be my favorite all time you tube comment. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again.
@VirtualDynamite I have...it's a pretty good record, but I still prefer the guitar tone used by Barre on "Aqualung". Also, FYI, Tony Iommi played with Jethro Tull for a very short while. I think he only performed live with them once. I think it was in '68 or '69 or something like that.
@RichieEastside Actually I take back that black sabbath statement. If you really want to "ahead of their time" in terms of guitar, look up High Tide - Sea Shanties if you have never heard of them before. They are probably a little bit more acknowledged in england, since it was one of the most important underground prog rock bands in England 69. It's not very well known at all in America though, one of the most underrated bands of all time IMO.
