Those of us who have listenend to the original recording hundreds of times can hear that EVERY single vocal inflection, aspiration etc. is identical to the recording. There is no way that a live performance could duplicate the recording in every single aspect with the exact same sound quality.

It is lipsinging.. I played the studioversion and this video at the same time. No differences. It always is differences when you perform live, for example some breathing in the mic, some notes are lower or higher in the mic than the studio (mic-technique).

They sang it at this small function, people liked it so they just recorded it and put it on the album. So this song was never made in a studio. Well, let me state my opinion.

This video is either almost-perfect-studio-like or super lipped. However, in this era Mariah wasn't very good at lip sync -> couldn't lip that good. Also, the performance is much the same as the studio one -> makes suspicious.

"I still believe" perf. was at the same concert -> it wasn't lipped.

So, with all these info, the idea which tends to get my attention the most is that the record studio made it lipped. And Mariah didn't lip this song in the concert.
