  • Legal

  • did someone yell fight?

  • This is totally legal.. the other team is a dumbass for not picking that up

  • its a direct snap to a running back, just like a normal play would be

  • A thing of beauty!!

  • did anyone else notice how some fucktard says "footbaaaawwwl!" like a dumbass at 0:30

  • @butteryeti i lol'd very hard

  • effingham haha

  • 100% legal. As long as the ball is snapped to another player its fair game. Im the varsity punter for my school and we ran this exact play once in our season and it worked but not as well. We got down to the 2 yard line. But then proceeded to score the next play.

  • hahaha! great job! totally legal!

  • Its legal. As long as the long snapper and another player made an exchange of the football, regardless of if it is conventional or not, it is a center exchange which makes it a perfectly legal play.

  • How is this debatable at all? Legal, no debate whatsoever.

  • yea so legal just executed perfectly

  • legal fo sho

  • LeGal

  • It's definately legal, it just fooled everybody!

  • lol horrible blocking 10 guy vs 1 opponent but that 1 guy still almost tackled the runner.. =) still nice play.

  • @licky02 Not terrible tackling, terrible decision by the ball carrier to run in front of his blockers not giving them a chance to block the punt returner without hitting him in the back.

  • I go to south effingham(btw its a county not a city) anyway i was at that game. I was pissed when i thought that the ball went over the punters head. Then i saw the upback running down the feild with it and was like damn good play call.

  • Oh, that's definitely legal! And clever! GREAT acting with the punter and that other dude (I think it's called protector? I could be wrong...)

  • it mad me laught so its legal

  • touchdown easy

  • good fucking play

  • Funny how the returner still gets tackled after being a dumbass and running straight ahead with a 6 man convoy to the end zone. He should've followed his blocks and not gotten touched but oh well still a touchdown

  • people are haters that was legal

    keep cryin baby

  • What kind of city is named Effingham?

  • @gaminggenius531 county not city

  • 1:02 Chunk!!! Babee Ruuuuf!

  • @TheCatFan21 lmfao that was probably the funniest comment i've ever read

  • there from the south, sheesh. Anything they dont like is illegal

  • of course that's legal. what kind of idiot would think that's illegal, just the butt hurt fans of the other team

  • legal nice hehe

  • how would this be ilegal?

  • legal

  • Nothing remotely controversial about this.

  • Legal. period.

  • ROFL!!! the guy laughing in slow motion omg

  • GO SOUTH EFFINGHAM

  • totally legal!!! nice fake!

  • theoretically, he would have had at least 6 blockers to block the returnman. Instead of slowing down and let them do their job, he ran for himself and could get the touchdown in a last ditch effort. don't wanna hear the coach if he failed..

  • i dont understand the debate in this... its clearly legal

  • Effingham...hehe

I like the guy's cynical laughing in slow motion.

  • Dude that is completly legal our team had the same exact fake punt

  • thts not illegal, i run a fake punt jus like tht

  • 7 people tricked

  • my question is who was genius enough to name a place "effing ham"... it's what's for dinner...

  • super legal! i have a play like that myself

  • clearly legal .. wats the arguement?

  • well i blame the coach, me being a center in high school, the coaches should preach watch the ball. you move with the ball not with the players....as far as being illegal? haha you have to be joking

  • Legal, they were behind the line of scrimmage when snapped.

  • sweet move!

  • ahahahahahahahha..omg thats incredible how they tricked the whole line

  • fucking beautiful obvy legal ~!

  • legal all the way dont see any way it would be illegal

  • What couldn't one of his 7 blockers get to the return guy and knock him out? LMAO! the guy had to work to make to the endzone. just about didn't. yeah its legal too me.

  • legal. for sure.

  • haha that was sick!

  • legal...sahhry bout your lick!

  • legal all the way. pretty smart too. and funny.

  • ofc its legal, the other teem just got fooled.

  • legal

  • legal, good fake

  • I wonder why he couldn't get a block, though,

    not that it mattered...

  • legal its a direct snap

  • LEGAL, LEGAL, LEGAL

    I love this stuff!!!

  • why would it be illegal if there was a pause? i do like the team effort running down the field to block too

  • Its unanimus so far, legal

  • why would this be illegal? it's just like the wildcat play, direct snap to the RB totally legal.

  • legal

  • Sick. I say legal

  • the rebels shud have one this game...so suck some hairy nuts

  • Why would this be illegal?

  • @stecz11 because the snapper never snapped the ball.the guy just took the football away from the snapper and returned it for a TD.Bad call by the officials.

  • @espben360 "The guy just took the football away from the snapper"??? Really? isn't that what a quarterback does when he positions himself over center? It's not like "they guy" picked the ball up off the ground. The center handed it to him. That's legal! No question about it. There should be no debate. The officials' no-call was the RIGHT call.

  • @davidemerling yeah your right. but it looked so much like a illigal play. but the qb did what any qb would do.

  • im from north effingham we should have tht game even some of souths players admitted it...what bs

  • Why is this even a debate? He snapped the ball to an upback. The guy ran for a TD. Good play.

  • yea really, its like a normal direct snap to a RB.... totally legit...

  • Totally Legal. That was pretty awesome.

  • i play for south soooooooooooo legal

  • 100% legal

  • legal

  • haha. nice play-

  • totally legal

  • legal

  • oh my god i remember this, i was there that year. best play south has ever done. and we just had to show effingham whos boss once again.

  • lol i was on the punting team right tackle c/o 08 you cant tell by the video but you all have no idea how rocking that stadium was after that play, imagine 10,000 people freaking the fuck out, then after they stop freaking out another 5,000 booing lol i dont remember it being that big of a deal outside of the game. i dont remember even hearing about it again until now

  • Pretty smart play. Hell, it even fooled the guy holding the camera.

I'm in no way a Patriot's fan, (I'm a Colts fan) but that play reminds me of one of Tom Brady's fakes. It realy works well.

  • i currently go to echs and i have to admit, that was pretty awesome.

  • Totally legal and genius Amazing play someone needs to teach that to my old High School because that was amazing

  • Dang I never knew I faked them out that good. I was the punter by the way.

  • It looks legal to me.

  • haha its fine i knew what you meant

  • my bad, the way I wrote this implied that I am accusing the coaches of always looking for a break from the refs. That's not what I meant and in the future I will be more careful when I type. What I mean is that some of the rebel fans are always crying foul when we lose, even when nothing illegal occurs. Our coaches should(and probably do), work on punt plays and teach their players to always be on watch for a fake. It was a smart play on coach maniors part, cause he knew we would not expect it.

  • yea it was legal

  • Im a rebel alum, but it looked legal to me. We just got burned. Instead of always looking for a break, maybe our coaches should spend more time working on punt plays and teach the players to be alert for a possible fake at any time.

  • why would this be illegal?
