It gets 100km/h in 2nd gear.. it's imposible, the audi RS3 dosen't reach it... we have seen a Citroen AX with 22" wheels or AX extremly modified... and why the gauge stands in 20km/h and 2000rpm at the begining?... oh guy this smells a big FAKE...

I got an AX 1.4 diesel, which does the 0-60 in like 15 seconds.=P But my gas mileage is way better than yours =P. Around 4liters/ 100kms. : )

its probably been cammed and re-mapped to a higher rev limit. Plus its an engine conversion anyway not a standard ax engine, will be from a 106 gti which will have a higher rev limit than the original engine in the ax.

its because its a different engine out of a saxo vts and not an ax gti one mate, the ecu lets it rev higher. ;)

@Nomasain Doesnt really matter, u can go till u hit the rev limiter.

Ofc in the end, the engine that never exceeded 3000 rpm will prolly last longer than the one which hardly ever were below 6000. ;-)

I had a couple of BX 16v a few yrs back and they were like this one, not really pulling until u hit 5500 and at 6000 madness happend as the torque peaked around there and the hp curve actually was one giant slope all the way till the rev limiter set in. :-D

@Nomasain you just start losing power in the red unless you have a race cam.

the revs in the video are pointless tbh. u want higher revs u need soild lifters.

@Nomasain Well it depends, if the engine is not stock, then the red zone doesn't mean anything. As for the normal engines they usually have a rev-limiter on about 300-400 rpm into the red zone so even if you want, you can't keep the engine there.

And if you remove the limiter and be stubborn to always keep your engine into the red zone for a longer time, it will surely kill it, maybe not suddenly, but eventually it will die.

The only difference is u have to choose right road because stopping is impossible in traffic.
