get a capful of olive oil and a cpl qtips...toss the tape and the time it takes to apply it. use a qtip to spread the oil around all areas of skin that will go into the cup(before u start ur drops--1 finger at a time) i usually do up to the middle knuckle. use a clean qtip after the design sits for a cpl minutes...comes off so easy. olive oil or any oil, veggie, vit e...softens and is good for the skin as well. and that capful, will do LOTS of nails. ~might post a quick-will link if i do~

You dip a earswab in some nailpolish remover and CAREFULLY swab away any excess nail polish. Hoped this helped :)

@Beetlebeads in my experience, certain polishes just wont expand in the water. Colors with no shimmer work best, but some will. Just test a few and see what you have that works before you get excited about a color combination, but you don't specifically need "special" ones, no. :)
