Hey I dont mean to step on ur toes coz dont get me wrong I love pitbulls and I hate the way they are categorised but I find it a lil anoying that in ur video called pitbull atacks baby u say on it there are wat 30 dogs mistaken for pitbulls?? Well this vid which is celebrating pitbulls has a lot of pictures of Bull terriers, American and english bull dogs, mastiffs, dogos and American and english Staffy. (I rekon the american staffy is probably the most often mistaken for a AMPB)

I love pit bulls, but the clip on 1:55 is innacurate. Homeward Bound the movies (1 and 2) did not have a pit bull. The two dogs in the movie were a golden retriever and an american bulldog.

what's ironic, is the Pit Bull was this great symbol when it was breed for the pit, and had gameness running through it's pedigree.

This ended in 1976...now we have no guarantees to what the dog is breed for. Often, today they are breed for Looks, size, color with no attention to anything else. Obviously, some people with argue this, but regardless, the years of Form follows function are gone.

I trusted the game dog with children for it was breed for a purpose. A purpose that has since been made illegal.

historical we see an amazing history of fine dogs, but how many generations removed will in take for these wonderful bloodlines to disappear or become something they were not intended for?

I love seeing videos like this I am a proud owner of APBT who is also my service dog. She is the best dog I ever had. She has accompanied me every I went for a lil over 5 yrs now.. buses trains flights subway movies etc, not once has she ever been violent.. keep the videos coming.. awareness is the key factor.. bright blessings.

As a person who owns their first dog a 4 month old APBT type adopted from shelter. I had reservations from what I heard in the media. research grought me to videos like yours. Of course Rocky quickly tought me what the breed is about. My dog looks like the dogs in the old pictures. I ended up with the best dog a person could find anywhere on earth. "Rocky" who has passed and holds Canine Good Citizen, American temperment test and I would love to do therapy. Thank You for your great video.

My videos are about "Pit Bull type" dogs. They are all under the threat of BSL & they are in my videos to educate people of the level of craziness BSL goes to. There are over 30 breeds considered "Pit Bull types" and at least 6 breeds are generally considered "Pit Bulls"

Thanks so much for putting this together! And you're right, many people lump all bullie breeds together. Spuds McKenzie and the Target dog are both bull terriers. The Little Rascals dog was an AmStaff, and I noticed a couple of English bulldogs in there as well. I think in the Beetle Baily cartoon Sarge's dog Otto represents some sort of bullie breed, but he's not really specific enough to identify.

My father's APBT saved my wife's life when an arsonist set fire to our place at 3am while I was away at work (ups December). He would not stop barking/tugging at her until she got up and out of danger!

Yeah, I agree with a few who pointed out that not 100% of these dogs were apbt but that's not the point...the basic message of your video is an excellent one. Sensationalistic news media have managed to villify a breed instead of irresponsible owners and people committing animal cruelty. It's terrible.
