  • Beautiful

  • Robocop is telling me about the history of France? Neat! :D

  • France-----Destined to endless defeat

  • I'd imagine that Druidism is less pagan than Roman religion. Druidism at least has some spirituality and philosophy in it, while Roman religion was mostly show and mythology.

  • @NorseHeathengirl2345 ID TAP THAT POWAH XD

  • was he short?

  • france = house cat

    china = tiger

  • @HistoryHmoobGuy, what do you mean by "house cat"?

  • @expertstrategy

probably meant spoiled, softened, and used to having everything handed to you versus being left in the wild and having to hunt to survive and eventually become skilled "hunters" like china is right now after all their hardship

  • Love these ancient architecture shows.

  • The Eiffel Tower built under Napoleon, ha ha ha

  • I like when he sings La Marseillaise

  • @MisterBlondStud

Napoleon suffered even more from his victories than the Russians did. He captured a burnt down Moscow, and was forced to retreat when the Tsar refused to surrender and pushed onward. The Russians were one of the primary supplier of troops when France itself was assaulted.

  • Russians never ended the Napoleonic empire , Napoleon destroyed the russian army in smolensk , borodino and captured Moscow . the Tsar war a puppet under french control.

The Russian winter and diseases are the only answer to the retreat.

  • We Russians ended this French Empire/Germen everyone....

  • Great Video but why is it titled Napoleon?

  • On the other hand, what on earth have Notre Dame de Paris, built in the Middle Ages, or the Eiffel Tower, built in the late nineteenth century, got to do with Napoleon?

  • im not sure why this documentary has napoleons name in it as he is only mentioned briefly.

this documentary is about frances history of architecture more than anything else

  • I have to agree. He did so much more that wasn't mentioned.
