I only just noticed this - Ridge Racers 2 cameo can be clearly seen at 2:05 - this is the Yamasa Raggio, a Special Category 2 machine from RRs2 and one of (it shares the speed with the other) fastest vehicles in the game! Namco, you clever bastards.

Okay tried finishing the game on one go at the arcades again and I reached 2 obstacles.

1) Wild dog using the grapling hook, I have no idea when he is going to shoot even when I am trying to time it

2) Wild dog traps you in a cage, I can shoot the walls but I keep wasting the granades which I should save for the last boss. What is the most effective way to destroy the walls without granades?

and with the walls, shoot one at once, and use all of your machine-gun ammo that you have

Oh yeah you get free 150 ammo at the start of stage 3-3 if you have 0 because you get 75 if you have less then 80.

What is more effective against the walls? Shotgun or pistol?

Use machine-gun, then handgun, and then shotgun on Wild Dog
