i have had this platinum box crap. it is pointless. all you can do is create maps and run around them. there are no mission objectives, no monsters to kill, no picks ups, no purpose. waste of time.

@TomGezen hahaha. Sorry about that. Trust me, you're not missing much. I spent a whole day trying to figure this out, and could not find one mission objective ,nor one trigger, nothing. I managed to change the skybox, and place a couple of horses. That's about it. Even UT2004 map editor is way easier than this. If ut2004 supported RPG, It would have been perfect.

@nelsoncarmo26 I have an epic pc laptop but unlike my mac.. the pc design causes it to break every 2 days. Sending it out again monday. Why doesn't every joint he magnetic charger side? @TomGezen Sell all that stuff and get your self a PC. My PC is quite old'ish, so it still hangs in there the poor bastard... has so much clutter. I had to upgrade it a couple of times with more RAM and a graphics card, plus a few bits and bobs, but it's doing alright. Get your self one of those newer PC's and you will be able to play practically every mod and game there is in the market.

@nelsoncarmo26 my out of date original macbook pro runs starcraft 2 without lag slightly above normal settings :D Out of date as in.. new mac book pros have nvidia 9600 or better, i've got 8600. That's a big difference. I can also run torchlight pretty well... but for some reason I can't run eternal lands above 4fps anymore...

@jtman56210 I think, just some modding should let you add your own models, but there's no way that I know of that's built in Plat arts to add new models.

@TheKillaCake Actually, it's very customizable, almost as much as GMod, you just need to know programming, Although, I have to agree it is kind of difficult, It's aimed at kids, but some adults can't make anything good, Kids have imagination, but adults have patience, so adults are the most likely to make something good.

Your project is fantastic! It looks so nice. We made a 3d side scrolling platformer in 2009. We used c++, Irrlicht and Newton Game Dynamics. I have uploaded videos onto my channel. Take a look sometime. :D

Is Sandbox based off the Sauerbraten code or its Intensity fork? The latter sounds more interesting to me due to its Python and JavaScript functionality.

it never did for me but i think the files need to be in the main pas folder and desktop (dont ask me why)

after they release the windows and Linux versions you have to wait for the mac version because they need someone to compile the codes into a MAC form.

so know it all depends on who wants to do it
