  • I agree with Phillip Bloom's video review. For the price the camera should be recording in 10 bit color space, and record 4:4:4 with frame rates up to 60 with full 1080p.

  • Nice try. Still doesn't look that much better than a 5D MkII when it comes to bitrate.

  • whoa!!! its a video dslr!! :D

  • this is a great new camera for large production and big budget films and videos but fot the average joe $20,000 big one to give for a camera :-( it's a little bit to much i keep my canons x2's and my panasinic ones also , i know this camera will revolutionis the new era of film making.

  • @loyacarlo79 I agree. The cost of something like this is gonna be around $20,000 - even the new Scarlet. But are they really 5 times better than a 5D, which costs around 1/5 of the price?

  • No argument there...the 5D and 7D are exeptional cams, even the T3i has been used to film professional music videos and I'm sure much more...but they still lack some much needed features as they are meant for stills. One much needed is the ability to records far more tha 20 or 30 mins. For events such as weddings this is a must..hopefully canon has something in the works that is affordable

  • Kuddos to canon for this 20K cam. Now how about something in the 5K range for us event cinematographers...sony has NEX-FS100...where for canon's response??

  • @thatboysr 5d? 7D? They are trying to break into a new market. I've seen this camera looking really good someplace and really bad other. I give more credit to the film crew and lenses used than camera itself.
