this is the best paint job ive ever seen on any gundam! great job i would paint my quanta this way but i accidentally bought a fake bandai(why you shouldnt shop for gundams in your nearest hobby store...especailly if you live in canada) and it will break if i take it apart...i love the gold frame what colour is it? i wanna paint my mgsf out of the silver its in for years...

While I do like Gundams with the typical blue, red, yellow schemes, this one is quite amazing too.

@mangakaninja Just because the frame's gold, doesn't mean its instantly a ripoff of S. Freedom. The red shoulders looks nice, the blue parts turned white look bad-ass too - and I find that creative.

If you don't like gold, hey that's your opinion, I can understand that. But that doesn't mean everyone else feels that way, and the same thing applies to that video you sent. It's his opinion, doesn't mean everyone agrees.

As for me, I quite like the look, and I think his paint job was great,

For a while now, I'd been debating over whether I'd rather get the MG 00 Raiser or the Quan[T].

Seeing this makes my decision a lot easier.

The combo of white red and gold really reminds me of Reborns Gundam, and the colors really work with this design; almost more so than the real colors, in my opinion.

What type of gold paint and silver paint did you use on it? They seem to be perfect colors to use on Strike freedom frame and Destiny Gundam Frame.

@rinrik i use the citadel burnished gold, any acrilic gold which is light gold not too much, plus i used the tamiya clear yellow to finish it off, looks really awesome, and i use an airbrush to do this, airspray wont work cause it will be too thick for the joints to work.

I agree with @dirge117. There's too much metallic. Metallic only looks WOW when there's a little of it on a piece that people's eyes to focus onto. For example, if you think the head is the focal point, gold V-fin is a great idea! But putting gold and silver everywhere just confuses things.

@darkangel200686 It is your kit to paint however you want, but it might help to look at other custom paintjobs or other kits with color schemes you like. For example, the Gold Frame Astray seems to be similar to those colors and I think it looks pretty good. A lot of gold, a lot of white, and a significant amount of the other colors, but they're rather "concentrated" in certain areas rather than all around. So look at lotsa kits, figure out why they look nice, and maybe try it out yourself too!

you've done a great job on this though you've pulled a prime92 and overused chrome gold/silver personally would have used i light grey instead of the gold and a faded silver in place of the one you have used

This colour scheme never stops looking amazing beyond compare. Especially on the Quanta. It really suits the Knight like design of the Gundam.
