LOL i love how they used a machinest.. WAY too complicated if u ask me, my bud and I made some Raw Mau5 masks in about 6 hours with pure creativity... Ill post a Video of our masks soon and im gunna be making probably 15 more after with unique looks such as a red oriental geisha style.. When i get them completed ill post pic and the ones i dont want ill sell.. get at me if ur intested

no sir.....we thought about it....but they're a beast to make! Ours is really really sturdy....trust me....i've been to mau5 concerts and seen many of them that have been in the crowd and uhhh....didn't make it.

@halfblackmaniac if anyone did sell them (i would think some one does) they would sell seriouslly sick, might i ask what was the cost of the material to make it? just an estimated total...

about 100 bucks or so.....the part where the price gets all silly is how you "actually make it" i mean...i've seen some mau5 heads that were about 40 bucks....good ones too...maybe not the strongest, but dope! It's the machining that went into ours that makes it a brute! LOL.

It's miss Detroits....she's in the 2nd video (Part 2) we made it for her...best part. IN 3 DAYS!!!! i will call Paul again and ask if he plans to do it (sell them). Last time he was tooo busy. Check ebay...some mau5 heads end up there. Or chat forums. =) meh.

Hey I got a 16 inch styrofoam ball which I just cut out I am scared that it might be too big to fit through the door and I might accidentally hit someone in the face with the ears lol you think its too big?

well honestly...all the friggin mau5heads are big. LOL. when we made ours mi55 Detroit (chick in club vid) had to take it off to walk through the crowd or simply take it off.

i got a 15 inch ball for the head? is that big enough.. so it can look exactly like the original one? what about the ears and mouth?

i'd say one around 20-22inches would be better. buuuut if you think it fits your noggin when you hold it up to it, then that's good. remember though.......if you go "our" route (with the welders insides) then you better get it bigger so you can put all that stuff in it.

o.k.......we used the inside of a welders face shield...it's adjustable....then we bolted it to the ears on the outside through the ball.....becuz of all the questions i'm getting (and can't keep up) i will be doing a video to clarify my videos i have out right now.... =)

i'd say (cuz i can't remember after we built it) search for something around the size of 30 inches or so (basketball size). it can be a little smaller. just hold it up to your noggin and kinda guess to what you want.

welllll......you'd have to send me your e-mail. i'll send you pics....to describe it right now though. take foam cut it out to the size of the ears. then we used a thin long metal strip and formed it around those and attatched it to the ball.

sorry it'll cost waaaaaaay more than that. not becuz of the materials...but the guys shot where we built it is soooo busy. so you'd actually have to pay him for the time he's not building his real products. which will be in the hundreds. i know it's a lot...but it's a business thing.
