I still have this album. I remember getting it like 2 days after it hit store shelves, lol. I remember the first time I ever heard this track, I kept playing it over and over again. Of course, I eventually listened to the rest of the album, while most of the other songs were very good, this one has just always stuck with me. Every time I play it, it takes me to this...place, where the troubles of this world can't penetrate. This song is, without a doubt, my most favorite song...ever.
Aye,ya, ya!---SMOOTH! LUV IT! P.S.:Kirk, or To WHOM IT May Concern:PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE add "Why Georgia". On my song rating list(1-5), "Now To Forever" is 5.75, but "Why Georgia" is 6+..
Kirk Whalum is my musical Mentor since i was young, he contributed to my music when i started producing music and i love the bass guitar!!! This track is an ultimate Jam session for any musician. Thanks and I salute you Mr Whalum. Unconditional Love...
@dumskull99 Its also for us kids who have soul lol. Kirk is a cool guy. I didn't think he would be so down to earth when i met him, but I should have figured by listening to his music.

Only my favorite Kirk Whalum song. This one and the song he does with Javetta Steele.

@fryelee11 "The song you're referring to is called 'Love is a Losing Game.' It's off his 'Cache' album.
