I swear this movie was so worthless. I cannot believe I pay money to go watch it. The action scene was pretty amazing considering all the hot girls, and the rest was just eh....? What? They had to exaggerate a freaking 2min scene into a 20min fighting scene. Like... What the heck? And the Main point of the movie was so stupid, it's common sense, you don't need to make a movie just to prove their point. I can't believe the movie writers wasted perfectly fine actress on doing that stupid movie

I loved the atmosphere of the movie, and - especially - the way it mixes epic fantsy/sf adventure, a noir film and those "overskilled bitches" movies like 'St. Trinian's'. The last one is a bit unnecessary when talking just about the context of the plot (fighting for freedom when everyone thinks they can use you any way they want and you have no obvious force on your side), if you get what I mean, but is essential in the story itself and character composing.

Impressive little storyline, only it had NOTHING to do with SuckerPunch. In every "dream sequence"(battle) there was no plot, just an objective. Only, the samurai battle didn't even have an objective. I understand they were big on using metaphors through the movie, but it honestly just packed too many stories into one. Thus, a clusterfuck of fantastic imagery with very little sense to it all. Watch it with no dialouge and it's great.

While this looks epic...where are the shorts with Babydoll in that world? Were there ANY shorts expanding on her fantasies in the second fantasy reality(i.e. when she was a sword-wielding warrior)? I truly adored this film, and was looking for some supplementary material or some post expansion of the concept...like maybe an anime tie-in.

This movie did poorly because the metaphoric fight scenes where loosely if at all correlated with the actual story line which was also supposedly some sort of metaphor. Having to "dance" for certain men while theyre distracted they obtain the items they need.. notice how they always had to accomplish the task before the "explosion"?
