SAme here i love the metal gear series they are so addicting!! i've beaten every1 except mgs4! Even the old ones metal gear solid snake with zanzibar land and outer heaven. I looove them. I first played metal gear solid when i was 7 woot!!!

I myself have always wanted to write a MGS screenplay, the potential to create a good action film is undeniable.

Obviously Mr Hayter seems to have been entrusted with the task, which is unenviable.

The screenplay needs to be written by someone with an affection for the games, much as you would expect with a book-film adaptation.

Good luck to you, would love to hear some of your ideas as how to incorporate the boss fights into a film, would you include all of them?

I remember having read somewhere that Solid Snake was named after David Bowman, the main character in 2001: A Space Odyssey. This was also why Dr. "Otacon" Emmerich's first name is Hal, named after the HAL 9000 computer in the same story.

I've been a fan of MGS since MGS first came out on the PS1...I was pretty..damn young. Especially since I played MG when I was only 4. Anyway, it's nice to see there are other people like me who appreciate his work. (and other voice actor work for that matter) I once wrote a letter to David, but my handwriting was too atrocious so it was never sent out. Anyway, congrats, and good luck on that screenplay(s).
