Hi!I am the singer/songwriter Giorgos Dimitriadis in person dear friend and I did the new version of the song you like so much.

It is a composition of Mikis Theodorakis' and the lyrics were written by one of great national poets Nikos Gatsos.The original version of the song came about in the early

60's and it was an international hit song.

This is my favourite piece of music since Manuel and the Music of the mountains version.

Being half Serbian and half English I love all the music from the Balkan and Greek regions (similar instruments) and western too.

I think This was written for the film The Honeymoon aka Luna De Miel and sung by Marino Marini in the film set in Spain. The English lyrics translate roughly into Spanish but the Luna de Miel by Paloma san basilio differs slightly naturally. The film is a love story between an englishman and a ballerina, who has left dancing but is being drawn back by a dancing colleague, wonderful raw flamenco dance, ballet and the legend of the Lovers of Teruel recently restored.
