Once again another Congresswoman out of touch with the majority. People just don't want the gay/lesbian thing promoted and encouraged no matter who mouths off about it. In this case the electorate said enough is enough! There is no discrimination here...its a moral judgement-this is worng and most, by a surprisingly large majority, have it settled in their mind. Being gay in the US means being in constant judgement of glass house dwelling, divorce/adultary-prone straights, who think they can lord over the romantic lives of gays because they have a dwindling majority on their side.
Guess what? Many in that majority are educated by sound bytes. The emerging sound byte is that the excuses used against gay marriage are really cover-ups for the REAL reason against gay marriage: hatred of gays. The Constitution doesn't protect hatred. The end.
