@ponypaula This is not cruel. Once the rabbits are used to shows, they handle them just fine. Most of these animals are also properly socialized, and handled daily so they aren't stressed at the show. Unlike house rabbits, where some owners aren't capable of picking their own pets up off the floor, or out of the cage.
@ponypaula Most rabbits live in cages their whole life. Pet rabbits usually never get out. these bunnies have been held ever since day 1 so they love it. My hotot buck loves being held so much that when I put him down, he jumps right back into my arms. These rabbits are living the life compared to most poor pet bunnies stuck in cages.
I've gone to this show every year for a few years now. It's a great show. I'm glad to see Twila Coffey talking at the end. I've gotten a couple of rabbits from her. She's such a nice lady. :)
Wow, thanks for that wonderful video! I show every year at that show with cavies, and it's my favorite location for cavy showing. I wish they'd let the breeders know about this project, as many of us weren't sure what was going on and were quite confused seeing a camera walking around... Great show and extremely nice video, thanks pjstar.com :)
Ive been showing nethies for a while and went to this to buy. but at these specific shows it usually starts around 7am and there's no real schedual to judging so you either hear your category or you dont, thus missing the judging. so yes, usually get there around 6-6:30am to set up.
The rabbits look so miserable..thir just passed around and held like toys...

this is cruel. Rabbits hate to be handled and they do not enjoy loud noises or being put in cages for long amounts of time
