I'm pretty sure that if society can be stupid enough to think that crocs are cool, decking is an attractive garden feature, and chipboard kitchens look nice that there's every chance that he really does think that they sacrificed children to pagan gods there. This guy is probably one of those emmets that head straight to Eden as soon as they get here because the rest of cornwall is "beneath them".
