  • Safety third my brother & sisters.

  • These are my hero when it comes to jobs.

  • Never been hit by a car, but flipped my bike cause my foot came out of my toecage and the pedal pushed my left foot into my wheel. woke up in an ambulance and almost died. Can't even image getting hit while crossing a street.screw that.

  • Awesome doc. it really hits the reality of the double edge sword that is life on the road

  • It's nice to see a video with real couriers and not pinhead hipsters. Good Job!

  • I love watching all the crazy riding skills on all these vids but as a former mess. I agree with the guy who says you cant just fly blindly through a red, sorry, but you are askin to get nailed and that ain't cool in anyones book. Hell, you get injured enough without doin that stupid shit!

  • You guys are happy because you are healthy. Your not suffering from all the inflammatory diseases that plague 99% of the desk jockey workers. Sedentary lifestyles do not a happy person make.

  • and btw my mom says im da coolest

  • i always say,.,,it doesn't matter what kind of bike you have,,it doesn't matter the brand if it's fixed or whatever.,.,the rider makes all the diference,.,

  • song?

  • THE POLISH HAMMER IS A BOSS!

  • is that guy from epic meal time?

  • name of last song?

  • delivering packages and fixed gear are two seperate things, i think some messengers are the biggest douches ever

  • @thisgame2 and you are of course not a douche, searching for messenger videos and posting your lame crap on all of them...

  • @nilo2209 im sure i could out ride you

  • @thisgame2 yeah but let's see you work as a messenger through an ice winter...

  • @nilo2209 im from florida, so i have warm blood. I just dont get it, i could messenger on a scooter. messengering is not about fixed gear, all it is , is a preference of a bike set up, i dont get you guys and your subculture, but i do ride for hours everyday, the only diff is i go where i want to go, i havent met a messenger that didnt act like a ordained minister of the church of im cooler than you,

  • @thisgame2 I don't know what messengers are like in Florida. I'm from Copenhagen in Denmark, Europe and here messengers are very different people. Your scooter would fail. You know nothing about the job. Maybe some messengers ARE cooler than you. Ever thought about that? :)

  • @thisgame2 no being a messenger is not about fixed gear but fixed gear really helps. And messengers were the ones who took track bikes to the street and realized it's the best tool for the job. Yes many messengers ride other setups but many are stubborn and think fixies is "only for fags" and stuff like that, just like your regular hater on youtube.

  • @nilo2209 im going to go ride for a few hours, i going to enjoy going where i want to go, peace and happy new year nilo, none of this shit really matters,

  • @thisgame2 well same to you, just remember not all messengers are assholes. I just noticed that we also had a private message conversation going on. Maybe I was a bit too harsh. Your graff is nice, sorry about the lame comment on that other vid.

  • I dont like that fixies are associated with messengers loads of messengers prefer gears and freewhealing

  • @disesed Yeah, I hear. I dont message, but I could never ride a fixie, worst in any type of down town traffic.

  • @disesed only rookies use gears in a flat city. All the veterans use fixies or singlespeed. Fixies are associated with messengers because they have kept riding them for many years, regardless of what's popular and what's not.

  • being a bike messenger in the USA, especially SF, is my dream. I know it sounds odd but I'd just love doing that... does anyone know if it's hard to get a job as a bike messenger in the US when u are french? like do you need a working visa?

  • @Lucassandro25 Yes, you will need a visa. It might be hard to work in a town that you aren't familiar with. Have you tried working as a courier in France? Try that first at least :) It is a very special job, just like the one guy said it's the best and worst job at the same time.

  • @Rascopuff Thanks for your reply :) yes, I think I'll try working in France first in order to get some experience and then consider going to the US. But getting a visa shouldn't be a problem I guess, aswell as finding employers?

  • @Lucassandro25 Well I'm not american, but I thought it was kind of hard to get a working visa for the US. I mean you will probably need to have an employer before applying and you might need to actually be in SF to find a courier company and apply for a job. Without the visa you won't be able to get in the US. A bit of a chicken and the egg situation. I mean I don't want to destroy your dream, but you will need to be properly prepared :)

  • Unfortunately,In My country there are no Bike Messenger :'(

  • I like how you did the Credits at the beginning. Great video.

  • Really cool documentary!

  • This video short featuring one of the messenger companies that I worked for, really captures the spirit of messenger life. Seeing two of the guys I worked with, really takes me back. I still identify with most of the messengers that were interviewed. The JET "office" looks exactly like it did way back then, same shit beer, just some different faces.

  • I don't claim to know the Bike messenger culture that well, but this seems to be the most mature look at it that i've ever seen. I don't feel that it's all a bunch of twats cutting off traffic and blowing red lights 90% of the time. P

    rops to these guys.

  • Loved this vide. I wish it was my job
