  • Anyone knows what cement is..?!

How can one call him or herself environment friendly when using cement..

Enlighten me how this can be..

Look up some info from e.g. Viktor Schauberger or others in his area of water management.. What is happening here is quite some method for losing the life force energy of the water..

  • @HGNnet

    Don't be an Eco-Snob.

  • @HGNnet "What is happening here is quite some method for losing the life force energy of the water.." [sic]

  • cool stuff .. nice i like it =)) thanks for sharing =)) god bless

  • wattle and daub. been used for thousands of years, with different materials.

  • um..where i come from y'all that's called a POOL.

  • fajny pomysł ;]

  • I'd build the soil up around that, I doubt it's all that strong once it has thousands of litres of water in it.

  • Why not just build a smaill pond of the same size and plant things around it?

  • Que leleia...

  • qualquer cimento? e que tipo de areia?(areia como se fosse aquela areia de praia) para ser mais facil de entender...

  • This technique is called "rebar".

  • i used a metal lath that is 1/4 by 1/8 inch

cuts easilt with bolt cutters. forgot what its called. can build concret counter tops 20 feet long no cracking. one layer of mesh

    concrete 3/4 inches thick

  • You can construct a dome format room using this tecnic, and spent just a fraction of the money that a conventional technic would spent.

  • hmm how about a hydroponic garden lol

  • the more layers of wire mesh ...the stronger it is !

  • O cimento leva uma mistura de quê?

  • Cimento + areia + água.

  • what's the song name? thanks

  • I wonder how long before leeching kills the tree in that water. Lime is highly acidic and most plants don't like acid baths...

  • Since when is lime acidic? Check your chemistry, it's alkaline!

  • True enough...definitely having a moment that day!! Still the leeching from the concrete would burn plant roots...

  • @NoirMusic never

  • If you can't respond with a complete thought please don't respond at all.

  • @NoirMusic your time wasted not mine

  • You can trowel cement on chicken wire........who knew? lol

  • What is ferrocement, does it have some special properties ?

  • Fergawdsache- ferro-cement is simply reinforced concrete or morter reinforced with wire, rods and mesh.. the term is actually taken from ferro- meaning steel or ferrous. and cement is basically lime, ash, and water when mixed together forms a watertight and easily applied paste. the term Ferro-cement came from boatbuilding by "Professor Nervi" and has been used to build boats and other things since the late 1700's romans even used hydraulic cement!

  • please tell me how thick the concrete walls are? and what mesh was used? and could you tell me what the mixture of aggregates, and pozzolans to mortar was used?? this would be a big help!!!??..thank you!!!

  • excellent

  • Have used this on our free website. theconstructionlibrary go to all to do with Concrete and Cement

    Regards

    Mike
