khan Sahib,,,,,,Simply Great Singer !!!! I had the pleasure to open the show for the legend thrice. M so thankful to god. These are the artists of the century. Simply the God of Music. I heard Kailash kale is fantastic too. God bless.

Granted, Nusrat started something with the help of Peter Gabriel which inspired the "new musical gurus" with a vision of perhaps presenting a spiritual aspect in verse and sound...but Qawaali remained stagnant for a long time (in my humble opinion) and only knew one form...Vishaal and KK have taken this form a few steps further by presenting it this way which reaches out to the masses and touches all generations, arouses the "nomad" and "gypsy" in all of us and chants love, angst, devotion..etc.

GOODNESS, he was a healer. At the time I didn't know the difference between Indian and Pakistani music...he was an inspiration for me to study Indian Classical music... HEY I LOVE YOU NUSTRAT! you really influenced my life.
