thank you for the wealth of infomation.. much apreciated.. One more thing though... what would you recommend to be the best way to see rome? car/public transport/by foot or by hiring a bike or a scooter? Also is it possible to see the whole of the coloseum? Im interested in seeing underneath the arena.. is that possible?
@taurus26m You are very welcome. You can use the buses which get you around the city very cheaply, or pay a lot more and use the hop on/off tour buses around the city. Scooters are a lot of fun, but can be a little dangerous with crazy drivers on the road!
The Colosseum upper and lower levels are currently closed until further notice, due to the heavy rains and snow in Rome. Hope this info helps.
I'm roman and I've always thought that we've a public transport of third world. Only tourists pay the ticket and the company has millions of debit.
In the only country wich dosen't have children anymore to feed its cars theese are the results.
And we're becoming always more racist than before, 'cause the poorest populations (Africa, East Europe) doesn' have cars (it's the only portion of poppulation getting on a bus) but they do children. This is my country at the begin of XXI century
so I guess that since I am very used to Rome traffic and transportation and I don't really seem to understand the big fuss about it, i should have no problem anywhere in the word hu? lol

@taurus26m call 060606 and make a complaint about the taxi driver, giving the number of the taxi you had a problem with. Good luck.

Only the Metro B was constructed partially under Fascism. The A line is not red, but orange.

Fantastic production. I especially loved the time lapse feature. Nice work and RomeWalks will certainly be my first stop in Italy, when I get there!
