Avatar was just as much of a break-through for CGI as Star was for practical model effects. The 3D makes Avatar just as revolutionary as when Dorothy steps into color in The Wizard of Oz. But, that's just my opinion.

i hope they release a 3-D version of Avatar on DVD, but with the black 3-D glasses {not those shitty cardboard glasses they bring}

The 3D tech that used the black lenses is really new, so people who want to not use the shitty cardboard type have to but new TVs.

Next year a lot of the big HDTV companies will start selling 3D tvs with 3D Blu-ray players.

I'm thinking of getting a new 3DTV just so I can watch Avatar in 3D again.

I really cannto wait to see it. It's going to be REALLY AMAZING. But all and all, I donpt think of it as the Greatest adventure ever... That was The Lord of the Rings. And the Avatars and the Na'Vi all look pretty wonderful and real and cool, but they're not Gollum. Still, This will be a feast for the eye, and of curse, to the imagination.

Well well, I dont know why you are atacking me. Remember, I like this movie too. I think is trhe best movie of this year, but hey, The Lord of the Rings was never and will never be a 3D movie, so you canpt compare. An no, not really. Gollum looks better, no ofense. But as I say, I love Avatar, I LOVE THIs movie, so, no atacking me, please. I only say Lord of the Rings is better, but there again, they are very different, so can´t compare. Let's better say Avatar is better tahn Star Wars.

Whats more, Dances With Wolves is a hell of a film, it's a damn good one to have a similar story to.

Totally man!!! I mean, even if the story line of this film was a DIRECT RIP of 'Dances with Wolves' I'd be like, "Hell yeah!!!" because I love that movie. I think we are in for a real visual treat of the 'event' proportion.
