But the Pacific Islands have a culture and tradition and are proud of it. (Yes, I have lived in the Pacific.) I do find it somewhat strange though that people (not you, but others) comment adversely on polynesian/ melanesian dancers but do not have a problem with thousands of other dancers/ performers who may also be learning and trying to improve. @ramsarupbhai thats correct. i just had a response to you saying she is one of the best... which i cant say i agree with.. and that her moves are great.. deffinatly not. I dance this culture professionally and i would not be competing like that or even performing if I was not respecting the culture and doing it at a level thats appropriate.
she also needs to just bend her knees a bit more, less stress, and just loosen up, it seems like she pushes out her butt while her back is all straight, she should slightly try to bend a bit more and arch her back out, and lean a bit forward while fa'arapu, and try to go fuller than rather small:P Practice makes perfect!
What absurd comments. If you cannot appreciate other's culture, dance and music, leave the site and watch something else. Like Lady Gaga! hah..
