Thanks for recording and posting this, I have seen it twice on little Rose Creek off Mission Bay in San Diego. The flock I saw was a little larger than the one you show, maybe 30 or so cormorants. And the flock I saw was more boisterous, flapping their wings to splash the water more.. Rose creek is more confining for the fish than Lake Merritt is. Anyway, this is awesome thanks again for posting it.

Yes, there are Canada Geese who hang out around the lake all the time.
