  • Forget the guitar and equiptment if you want a good tone, are the years of practice and experience and of course, genetics, this tone cames from you, tanks for post this.

  • You have a great feel for the guitar...well done!

  • Hello there!

It sounds like you have a compressor pedal on the clip, is it a Boss or..?

  • natural tube compression , I guess. No effects at asal, 'cept some delay

  • Okay. Maybe it's the built-in microphone in the videocamera that compresses the sound, I know my camera do so...

    Anyway, it sounds great!

  • Hollows(chambered) have s softer attack and sound fuller. While my previous solid body had more snappy sharper attack. they're both good tones but like the hollowed out better as it's more.... buttery

  • Hi,could you elaborate?

When you say softer attack do you mean less bright? Is it the same both acoustically and electrically?Perhaps the body resonance being louder makes the attack softer by way of contrast?

    Thanks.

  • You are a good player. Your Low E string is out of tune though, maybe your intonation is off. I want a hollow body too, but they are too freaking expensive just for a body.

  • yeah new strings on my axes this week,DR's so they're still streching out(LOL)

  • Tight playing. How does the hollow/chambered strat compare to the solid body one tonewise?

  • It has a softer pick attack more "air" but all the twang of a solid body. Also' the guitar feels more alive. the neck joint was super tight, had to push the neck hard to het her in there so sustain and attack was improved.
