When you are doing dwarf cannon, if you take the ammo mould and put it in your tool belt you cannot give it to the dwarf commander and you cannot get a new one from the engineer. (therefore condemning you to never finish the quest)

A glitch like that would have been patched pretty quickly, so getting something like a common item in the public, it would be time consuming. Your chances of finding a guy with a legit phat roaming around a far distance away from a hub is kinda slim.
