@AllsAGulr22 No guys don't because of their structure, I believe their density! But if you have seen the all male company ballet they do a parody of swan lake and they are in pointe shoes. But it is still very dangerous for men but also for women!
@AlIsAGurl22 Guys don't use pointe shoes in traditional ballet, unless for comic or grotesque effect. But in companies like Ballets Trockadero, men play all the parts, & perform female roles on pointe, often brilliantly well. It's comedy, but extremely skillfully done dance comedy. So if you're a guy who'd like to dance on pointe (or you know one), look up Ballets Trockadero (there are other such companies too), & study & practice a lot! Those guys are good!
@MillionDollarBaby373 They wear a special underwear with a protective cup. So what you are seeing is not their penis. Like baseball players. They have huge bulges 'cause they wear a protective cup.
@friendly406 Actually, there is no "protective cup"; there's simply a dance belt, which gathers & lifts everything up out of the way of the legs, in a relatively neat 'package,' against the skin, encased in strong, elastic fabric. However, should a guy get a knee to the groin, perhaps from his partner's knee in a pirouette (turn), it can hurt very much. As to MillionDollarBaby's point: No, ballet dancers don't have unusually large (or small) equipment. They're just regular guys.
@animelover1449 it's from the nutcracker. It's the pas de deux that the prince and sugar plumb do.

@AlIsAGurl22 no tmen do not wear pointe shoes. women wear them as it is supposed to portray lightness, softness and to make them appear delicate.
