@akk1028 Unfortunately, the way to do that (as of today) is buy a TI-Nspire CAS. Right now, the TI-Nspire non-CAS does not support simplified radicals. I keep hoping they'll add that feature because it's on the $15 TI-30 Multiview, but they haven't yet.
Is there a way to solve for the variable on the non-cas?

If i put my 2nd degree equation on my TI, i get-3.23607, and 1.23607. But i want it ti be -1+sqrt5 and -1-sqrt5. How do i do this?
