I find references all over to "Don Moen, pastor, American song writer..." etc, but am unable to discover which church(es) he has pastored or what denomination ordained him. Even Wikipedia is silent on this.

Does anyone here know?

Apart from wanting to know the title Don Moen holds-be it Pastor,Song-writer or whatever,you have not mentioned whether his music blesses your heart.I suppose it does and that you are a believer in the Lord! Don ,regardless of his demonination is one of the best American Song-writers of this century and has contributed massively to the Gospel Music Industry.

Yes, I am a believer, and I just found a Don Moen song mentioning Jesus' name! I'm a wee bit more comfortable about him now.

The song that made me inquire is one used in our church worship. Its called "When its all been said and done" and its words are confusing at best and false gospel (of works) at worst.

@OneJohnFiveTwelve .........I have never heard of a title "Pastor" being referred to Don but what iam sure of is that being who he is as one of the best singer in Gospel music, his fans and lovers ,including me, will not hesitate to call him all sorts of names that. after all, are skewed towards his good music,good voice ,his humble nature and generally hsi commitment to the Lord.I love Don Moen and would not hesitate to "baptize"him "Pastor" even when he may not be pastoring any church.

@benonbaine Thank you for responding Benonbaine. Don Moen is certainly entertaining and could even be described as "uplifting". But I have yet to hear any of his songs that actually mention the name of Jesus. I HAVE found one that mentions the Cross, so I guess he is a christian - at least of sorts - but the fact that he is known as a pastor, yet APPEARS never to have pastored a church is a red flag, to me at least. It means I am unable to find out his core beliefs. (more)

S. A, the following day after the day i played and worshiped with the DVD, I called the Social Security office and i was told my card was mailed the previous day. HALLELUJAH. GOD HAS REALLY CALLED THIS MAN TO SING TO HIS GLORY.

It is not written anywhere that God created all those illnesses. It is man-made, poor feeding and environmental degradation that result into those diseases and global warming effects. All that God created was very good according to His Word Gen 1:31. Despite man's harmful acts to what God created that has turned out towards man's destruction, God still loves man to repent and believe in Jesus Christ who makes all things NEW. He is also behind all science discoveries that you hear about. Col 1:16
