  • i wouldn't say it looks like a 100 gallon i have a 55 at 4 ft but yours might be 75 gallons.

  • really like the severum! it it a he or a she do you know?

  • 100g my ASS..

  • Hey! I'm going to get a similar setup! But I am going to add a bichir to the mix :) Nice tank! and screw the people who say it's not the actual size. They don't know shit!

  • Thats actually a 90 gallon aquarium close enough to 100 gallons! a 90 gallon is 48inby 2 feet by 2 feet !

  • @fisherkid89 not thats 120 gallons my tank is 48"x 20" x 2ft high and thats a 100 gallon i checked that shiz up on google

  • LMFAO definetly not a 100

  • a 100 is 5 feet long that is like a 75. my dad used to have a 100, i have a 75. plus 100 gallons have the smooth sides.

  • What are your exact tank dimensions? 48 x ? x?.

  • lets settle this little argument. what are the measurements of the tank?

  • that is not a 100g it like 30g who ever toled u it wat 100g it stupid

  • @TwilightOscar the oscar in there is a solid 11 or 12 inches. does it still look like a 30?

  • lol look like a 40g nine 100g acrylic tank is like way bigger

  • looks like a 75gallon at most

  • Nice job! fish look real good, Healthy

  • huge oscar

  • Very small footprint for a 100G tank!

    What you use for filtration?

  • Comment removed

  • yeah geez its a 100 gallon tank! its 4 feet long but sure a lot taller and especially deeper than another 4 foot tank size like 55 gallons.

  • nice tank

  • a 55G tank is 4 feet long. a 125G tank is 6 feet long. your tank is NOT 100 gallons.

  • My tank is 4 feet. there are more 4 foot tanks than just a 55.

  • @Nelsin82 yea it looks like my 90-100gal mine is 4ft long to just tall and wide

  • Dude dont be stupid. I have a 4 foot long tank that is 115 gallons. Dimensions are 48" long, 24" wide and 23" tall. Plenty of cubic volume to gallon conversions online if you look.

  • @ImbomberX3 u see the the thing here is, this tank is defenitely not 24" wide or 23" tall. i kinda looks 4 feet. but this tank is definitely not a 100g. or maybe its an optical illusion? the camera was zoomed in on the tank so there wasnt anything to compare it to. besides, everyone has the right to their opinions.

  • nice tank is the tank still running good?same fish?

  • Yep its still running well, The geophagus died unfortunately but everything else is the same

  • aww man that sucks well they come and go. good luck for the future of your tank

  • is that a female jd?

  • 100 U.S. Gallons= 80 U.K. Gallons

  • Nice tank, my female is almost the size of yours, how long have you had her?

  • My 90 Gallons tank is 48" X 18" X 24", so Nelsin82's tank is 100 gallons.

    Nice Oscar!!!!

  • love the fish but that like a 55 gallon

  • People. It is a 100 gallon tank. Just because it is not standard AGA dimensions doesnt mean it is not. It is 48" long, 20" wide, and 24" TALL, very similar to an AGA 90 gallon tank. Don't bother posting "that looks like a 55" or "thats a 75 gallon tank", because you are WRONG.

  • What are the dimensions?

  • wow i was considering to put 2 jack's in with my 4 severums, i thought the jack would kill the sevs cause they're so violent, does ur jack act up anytime?

  • yea dude thanks i did a lot of research and i went and got a 55 gallon

  • yah thanks i accually earlier 2day just got a 55 gallon tank lol

  • BiNGHAMx14 you do not want to put a Jack Dampsey in anything under 55 gallons, I have two Jack Dampsey's in a 55 gallon aquarium a 2 year old male about 6'or 7' and fat and a one year old female about 4'to 5' and to tell you the truth it seems too small for two of them, 55 gallons would be perfect for one Jack Dampsey, I really need a 75 gallon for both of them, I would'nt go any smaller than 55 gallon for one Jack. anyway Nelsin82 I see the width that you are talkin about, so sorry my mistake.

  • alright sorry to keep bothering ya, but im getting a new tank its a 36 gallon. Can a jack dempsey live in that? i know that 36 still is prolly to small for an oscar right?

  • ok thats a sick tank by the way. and how big to geophagus get?

  • Thanks

the geophagus gets to about 6: for a big male. This guy now is about 5. Some species do get bigger though

  • can any of these fish live in a 20 gallon tank alone? i know an oscar cant because of its size but how about the jack dempsey

  • The Geophagus steindachneri maybe but everything else gets too big sorry :(

  • BING, you should look into fish that grow to 4" or smaller. Anything larger than that is just going to be hanging around and not able to swim in a 36g. I would recommend rams or gourami.

  • Man don't piss down my back and tell me its raining! thats a 4'ft long 14"W x 18"T 55-gallon aquarium! But you do have a damn NICE Jack Dempsey.

  • 55 gallons are 12" in width. Doesnt mine look a bit thicker than that? about 6" bigger? Also, just look at the height in comparison to the width. I could understand people thinking it was a 75 or 90 cause it looks very similar to those. but 55?

  • good lookin oscar.

  • Doesnt look 100 gallons but.. Im probaly wrong

  • ...yep.

  • that looks like a 55 gallon cuz that oscar would have to be im the 20+ inches and i havent even seen one in the wild that big. wat are the demesions on the tank if they 48"L X 14"W X 18"T its a 55. but idk man that serverm would have to be huge to like 15 inches.

  • Why does everyone say it isnt 100 gallons? I know the dimensions of my own tank. It is a 4'x18" 100g. It is like the conventional 90 gallon but taller.

  • it just looks like a old 65 gall tall i had a while back and i had a oscar in it and thats how it looked but watever man ur fish.

  • is it 2' tall if it is its a 75g

  • its 100 gallons man

  • what type of geophagus is it?

    jurupari? santaperca?

  • Steindachneri.

Satanoperca is actually a genus name.

  • thats not a 100g tank.

  • I beg to differ.

  • 100 U.S. Gallons

    80 U.K. Gallons

  • beautiful, love the clean and simple look.

  • Hey I am from FishForums love the tank first time I have seen it.

  • not overstocked IMO. it looks excellent. fellow MFK'er

  • thanks!
