At first I was hesitant to like In Flames's new stuff but I have grown to really like it. Just have to have an open mind and accept it for what it is. Change was eventually going to happen, regardless if we wanted it to happen or not. I still love In Flames. They continue to amaze me with their music, my tattoo is a tribute to them.

They complain because In Flames changed their sound to a more modern style.

I have to say I like Clayman and Colony much better, but that's just me. For me they just evolved in a wrong direction. The Evolution of Dark Tranquilty fits my taste much better. But that just MY PERSONAL TASTE and you can't argue about personal taste ;-)

@nothing98 Everyone is always going to say the latest work of a band isn't as good as their older works. People are afraid of change. If it was up to these people, every album would be the same sets of songs over and over again until the end of time. Ironically, if that is what happened, these same people would probably complain that In Flames never does anything new.

In Flames has been and always will be melodic metal.

Great song. Its a bit of a shift from the "old" Flames but change is inevitable... nearly every band thats been around for a while goes through musical growth and deviation.

Those who hate them for this change... Try being in a metal band known and admired throughout the world yourself. Its probably not as easy as it looks, certainly not as easy as typing out some crappy comment on YouTube.
