Outlaw Pete is a great song, and Springsteen is just in a class of his own a a songwriter and performer. This concert at Hyde Park was done the day after a full show at Glastonbury, hence the reason his voice is not quite as good as usual.
Not a lot can be said about this guy that hasn't already been written, truly awesome, a legend, one of the greatest song writers ever, no fancy lights, no air's and graces just pure undiluted rock "n" roll. If he had been British he would have been knighted by now. Can't wait to see him again at "Hard Rock" next year because quite simply "He is the Boss"
Hard Rock Calling, Bruce Springsteen, 12 noon, Saturday 14th July 2012- tickets bought! :D Finally going to see the best rocker on the planet and it only took me 17 years!
seriously!!! If ya don't at least respect the boss somethings wrong!!! He could easily bow out of some of the harder vocal parts of this song but man he just belts that stuff out. Can ya hear meeeeeee? Dang it boss the whole world can, you're a F#*%ing powerhouse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where all other performers need lights and other special effects this legend just needs to put on a hat. And actually not even that. I have seen the best ever and his name is Bruce Springsteen
Saw him the night before he played Hyde Park at Glastonbury, not a lot anyone can say except awesome totally awesome. If he was British he would be called "Sir Bruce" by now.
Soak up the atmosphere and wallow in the class that is Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen. If I never go to another concert in my life I will die a happy man because I went to this one
This guy is not called The Boss for nothing. Nobody can top him on a live performance, I am sure if that. The thing I can never get my head around is his recognition as a songwriter. There is not a person on this planet that cant empathise with his writing. It might be way back from the "Born to run" or right up to his latest stuff "Magic/Rising honestly, listen to his lyrycs. We all have crap periods in life, but The Boss puts them into songs/music far easier than whatI can describe here.
Saw this at Glastonbury the night B4 - Fantastic one of the highlights of the festival - The effort and the energy Springsteen put into his shows even at the age of 60+ is out of this world. Long may he continue......

18 and a half hour-long gigs based on nothing but performance. No dancing, no light show, no pyro, just being a musician and damn good story teller.
I salute you, Boss (even though you don't like the nickname).
