All due respect: these guys were numbnuts. Obvious signs of previous avalanches, three riders on the slope at once and one moron standing around at the bottom of slide path. I'd nominate these fellows for a Darwin award...certainly a runner-ups.

Take a frikkin avalanche awareness course and then perhaps we will discuss the hazards. You will lose your right to ride and then you will pay through the nose for qualified guide.

i was in an avalanche like this a couple of weeks ago, but was in the middle of it when it started to come down.... had to run over the sliding snow and then over the front....VERY SCARY!!!! I was shaking for half an hour after that!!!!
