@SWATKatGirl92: Uhhh...NO. Fraggle Rock ran from the 1980s, specifically from 1983 to 1987, when Jim was still very much alive. He even played minstrel Cantus & the ever-enticing Convincing John.
1. This is better than trash that rushes kids too fast & is--like much of TV now--cheap, immature, & done solely for profit. This show had meaning that was deep & heartfelt, i.e. the purpose of world peace mixed with the Henson Muppet mold to create a wonderfully symbiotic, musical romp.
2. To call it "gay" is an insult! Grow up & actually learn something, instead of resorting to un-cultured, unflattering, & unfunny comments, or don't say anything at all.
@sparklyhick22: But even though Red and Gobo fight (i.e. have "lover's spats", as I call them) often ending up with one of their egos bruised and feelings hurt, they care for each other, as do the rest of the Fraggle Five. The Five would be best friends, after all. As to the show itself, it transends generations and time, since it is coming back, courtesy of The Hub, set to replace Discovery Kids on October 10, 2010--every weekday at 8:30 am ET/7:30 am CT.
@Montork You can view it like that, or you can view it more as intended: a call for attention. Attention to a sort of broken soul who seeks human connection. It's more character-development based.
I used to watch Fraggle Rock when I was little!
