@GWGOULARA The first half of RE3 takes place 24 hours before RE2.. so they start out in around the same area. You actually go into the police station for a bit in RE3 before RE2 gets there. RE2 has both female and male characters that you can play as; each one having their own scenario. Depending on who you start out with, you can play as the other character at the end of the first player game to see how that character made it through. This is just a demo making Claire's game unplayable.

@TheMasterMindish I don't remember there being a typewriter in the gun shop. I remember the first typewriter in the main hall of the police station. This was a demo and you weren't allowed to save the game even if you found one. You can see where I check the one in the main hall.

Damn! Resident Evil 2 is the scariest game of all time. Resident Evil 1 and 5 arn't scary, Resident Evil 4 was pretty creepy and spooky, but I will never go anywhere near this game. I had too many nightmares as a young boy. I will never forget my older brother playing the game as I watched and hid away.

But they did not because it is a survival horror game which is mostly about having no power or lack of power defending from a frightening force (Zombies etc.), low ammo and having to read to solve puzzles. I don't think there is an expansion or a difficulty. Resident Evil 2 has got to be one of the easiest games in the series. In my opinion it's still one of my favorites to play because it's so fun. I know about the cop you're talking about. It's the guy that gives you the key card, and then when you are able to get back into that room again, he turns into a zombie. This is the demo, and he is not present in this game.

yeah, if you don't pick up any items throughout those first 3 minutes and you go down those stairs, there is a special zombie waiting for you. I think it's Brand Vickers. I know this works in the full game. I just forgot if he's actually holding anything for you.
