God talks to anyone anytime they consult him :) as long as they are truly open and asking from the heart not the ego. You sound like you had a different experience but that doesn't mean God did not speak to you, because you do not have to physically speak to God :) God is all, a mixture of the creator and the creation, and you are the perfect metaphor to describe that!! Great video! I have had the occasional "tap on the shoulder" from God myself. I have stressed over things and he gives me the answer. I may not always like the answer but, at least I get one. If I had unlimited space I would go into detail. Very good post though :-)

They had to fly him off the ship and I believe (don't quote me here) Rhota Spain. Apparantly it's the only time he ever passed out without the help of booze! off topic a little ... really really interesting accounts of hearing from God.
When that hatch fell on my head, all I could do was stare at my finger because I was sure it wasn't going to bend again. It looked soooo flat. Alas though it was uninjured. Thankfully I have a hard head. :)
