در اين که بازرگان مرد نيک نفسی بود شکی نيست. ولی او و تمام ملي-مذهبی ها با ناآگاهي و خامي خود اشتباه بزرگی مرتکب شدند و به کشور ضرر زيادی زدند. آن ها بدون اين که آخوند و اسلام را بشناسند به دنبال آخوند ها راه افتادند در صورتی که قبل از انقلاب می بايست در مقابل آخوند ها و خمينی و مزخرفات آن ها می ايستادند. وقتی اين آقايان دکتر و مهندس به دنبال يک مشت آخوند وحشي و بی سواد به راه افتادند از توده های مردم چه انتظاری می توان داشت؟ آن ها ناخواسته در برقراری استبداد دينی در ايران نقش مهمي داشتند.

I don't think Iran was ready for someone like Bazargan at the time. People really thought that Ayatollah Khomeini was Iran's ultimate savior but indeed that was not what we saw.

مشگل ما ایرانی اینست که مردگان را می پرستیم و برای نبودشان شیون میکنیم و آنگاه که زنده بودند دستشان را نمی فشردیم. آنگاه که دکتر بازرگان گفت من در سرتاسر عمرم فقیهی به دروغگویی آقای خمینی ندیده بودم چرا جز افراد انگشت شماری از کمکش نکردند؟

I highly respect him and in no way I am against him, but if people like him hadn't just quitted when things got tough, maybe our beloved country wouldn't be at the current situation it is.

He didn't just quit. Bazargan resigned in protest after Khomeini's mob of thugs overran the US Embassy. He later became a member of Parliament (I think) and would have run FOR PRESIDENT OF IRAN in 1985 but the new DICTATOR ("Grand Mullah"!) and the Council of Guardians denied his petition to run for the office of president. Bazargan did all he could do. He was a good man.

as much respect i have for the late mehdi bazargan and his thinking, he would have been swallowed by the satanic agents of the u.s. government if were to continue further. don't underestimate our enemies. recently it was publicized that the satanic u.s. regime had undertaken many money laundering tasks in the region to deflate the iranian currency against the u.s. dollar once pres. ahmadinejad dismissed its criteria for import/export purposes.
