It has a union bay 730 motor in it. All kinds of mods, about 20K into the sled they told me. SSS polaris built it. Super soft warm conditions also.

That is the most ignorant comment I've read in a long time. Ever tried real backcountry snowmobiling? There are few 'activities' that are as taxing as that. After just a few minutes of real riding you're soaked in sweat. And the next day you feel like you've been run over by a truck you're so sore. Try it sometime.

Done both. Skiing is too passive to be much fun. And snowmobilling is ALOT more work. I used to get paid to keep the trails open between Big Creek Idaho, and Yellow Pine Idaho during the winter, using my snowmobile. I'd spend all day opening 25 miles of trail, only to have three feet of new snow on the ride home.
