  • @heine71 yep bc was the main target

  • Smokey's catchphrase doesn't make any sense.

  • they don't make these anymore, i wonder why.

  • Smokey the Bear even was in Canada?

  • Pedo bears parol cousin

  • I'm the only one who can prevent forest fires! Draughts and Lightning have jack-butt to do with it!

  • Keep circulating the tapes.

  • it looks like a batlefield..

  • I didn't know they used Smokey in Canada as well. Confused the hell out of me when the guy said "dead oat"

  • @Applemask - sounds like "dead out" to me. Of course I'm Canadian. XD But "oat" here, like oatmeal, would be pronounced like someone saying "oh?" with a T ending. "Oh-ttt" - isn't that how you pronounce oat? How do you pronounce "out" btw? :)

  • @Princessportent Ow-t. Well, actually, since I'm from Cornwall, I tend to hear a variation on "oat", ironically.

  • @Applemask - and yup...I recall watching Smokey on TV when I was little. I even got to see a Smokey the bear statue at one of the National Parks in BC.

  • Only you can prevent forest fires...unless lightning strikes during a dry summer.
