What's with the bit of graffitti at 1:18. Makes me wonder if Aussie motorists should keep cans of brown and dark green paint in their tool box for the sole purpose of spraying over the grafitti as fast as it appears so as no-one gets to see this "artistic handiwork??" on youtube.
it is 5000Km's by road de panending on witch road you used. but it u just went from sydney to perth str8 across it 3000km's lol the raods ad 2000kms to it
Of course, man, I would like to work there in order to help to increase your economy. In fact I would like to live there for the rest of my life. If possible, I would marry an aussy woman! Do you come from a land down under?
Ah fair enough then...is that a question or you talking about the song xD lol.
If its a question, yeah, Im from perth :).
You should come down, IMO perth is abit average for tourists, we are more of a living city than a visiting one, but theres plenty things you can do out side the city if your visiting.
Better to maybe, stay at Burswood hotel, for a few nights walk around the city, go to Rottnest Island, and then visit the vineyards. :)
@adrialbati generally.. australians are pretty tolerant people. if they are less accepting of other cultures they usually keep it to themselves as outburts of racial intolerance are heavily frowned upon. nevertheless, we do have people in our country who tend to dislike other cultures.. mainly asians, indians and middle easterners. i would suggest you learn english as well as you can (seems like you are competant already) and come with an open mind.
True, me and my old man drove from perth to darwin up the wa border a few years ago, and stayed up there for a year then on the way back we went down through alice prings and through the border of S.A. then hung a right into Wa border through quarantine and shit then kept goin and yer i cant rememba from there but it was way quika than goin up the WA border that shit to fuckn ages..catchya
I see that the name of the song used is called "quick and the dead," but I do not see the artist? Can someone tell me the artists name. I've been trying to google the song, but I am having problems finding it. Any help here would be much appreciated. Thank ya much!!
nice video i did that trip longtime ago, when i leaved in perth, and it was on the greyhound bus lol april 1984,great country very nice and honnest people good on ya mate
No1horselover...Its a long way ,Crank up the a/c or put the window down.... You will love it,Take your time if you can...the roo's can be bad at night ,P.s. take your camera....have a safe trip
I cant use the air con on my car it almost doubles the petrol consumption. We are taking two cars over in december, its gunna be bloody hot isnt it. when you travelled across how hot did it get?
It gets hot ...You can travel at night, but then you have the Roo's Wombat's and Camel's to contend with....(don't you just love the Aussie bush)..To be fair it's not that much hotter than Perth ....You'll be sweet
yeah what a roadtrip aye, i done it in 06 drove to hopetoun then up to perth then perth back to sydney!! ran outa gas and caught a ride with truckies... good shit hope you didnt hit any roos lol. :) peace
My husband and 8 year old just travelled from Canberra to Perth we now live in Rockingham. Our van broke down in Kimba thankfully they had a fabulouse community pub where we licked our wounds. All in all was a great trip great to see it on youtube in the comfort of our home... cheers
PS Kingdicko. Yeah, the 42 hours across the Nullarbor is pretty believable, Eucla to Perth can be done in just over 10 hours, including the time it takes to change a flat tyre! ;-)
Hey vbthedog, thanks for putting that up! I lived in Eucla, near the SA/WA border for a few years and a few of those clips made me very 'homesick'!!!!
Especially around 2:30, sweeping across the Eucla pass to the coast in the distance, and 2:53 which is just over the SA border by about 12 ks looking back towards WA... ahhh, what a place... :-)
we did this and then toured around south WA, did about 10500kms in three weeks. speaking to some people they did the nullarbor crossing in 42 hours no stops!
Great stuff -- but I think you'll find Perth to Sydney is less than 5000 KILOMETRES (5000 MILES is 8000 kilometres!) It's a big country -- but not that big ...

Hi, great "aussies"! What do you think about foreigners going to work and live in Australia? Thanks!
adrialbati 2 years ago
I think its alright. As long as you put back into our economy, and dont send most of it back home.
Some is alright, better if more than half is spend here though.
Unless you want to destroy our economy :(
