  • What's with the bit of graffitti at 1:18. Makes me wonder if Aussie motorists should keep cans of brown and dark green paint in their tool box for the sole purpose of spraying over the grafitti as fast as it appears so as no-one gets to see this "artistic handiwork??" on youtube.

  • Its only 4000 KM's which is only 2485 miles Einstein

  • may I know, around how much does it cost (gas especially) to travel from Perth to sydney by car?

  • It was indeed, the dear old (Effin' expensive to maintain but I loved it to bits) Calibra :)

  • And that was in the Calibra!!

  • No that should have been the value for the round trip! My bad :)

  • 5000 Miles?? Which way did you go? Via Queensland??

  • it is 5000Km's by road de panending on witch road you used. but it u just went from sydney to perth str8 across it 3000km's lol the raods ad 2000kms to it

  • The offical miles perth to sydney is 2,453 miles ,3,949km

  • 5000 sounds way more epic. Possibly they made detours?

  • it probably includes the return trip as well ...

  • lol i drove from 200kms east of adelaide to perth in 31 hours. no drugs

  • You're wrong too, Camster - it's slightly more that 4,000kms

  • its not 5000 miles its only 3000kms

  • Hi, great "aussies"! What do you think about foreigners going to work and live in Australia? Thanks!

  • I think its alright. As long as you put back into our economy, and dont send most of it back home.

Some is alright, better if more than half is spend here though.

Unless you want to destroy our economy :(

  • Of course, man, I would like to work there in order to help to increase your economy. In fact I would like to live there for the rest of my life. If possible, I would marry an aussy woman! Do you come from a land down under?

  • Ah fair enough then...is that a question or you talking about the song xD lol.

If its a question, yeah, Im from perth :).

You should come down, IMO perth is abit average for tourists, we are more of a living city than a visiting one, but theres plenty things you can do out side the city if your visiting.

Better to maybe, stay at Burswood hotel, for a few nights walk around the city, go to Rottnest Island, and then visit the vineyards. :)

  • @adrialbati generally.. australians are pretty tolerant people. if they are less accepting of other cultures they usually keep it to themselves as outburts of racial intolerance are heavily frowned upon. nevertheless, we do have people in our country who tend to dislike other cultures.. mainly asians, indians and middle easterners. i would suggest you learn english as well as you can (seems like you are competant already) and come with an open mind.

  • Each had moments. But the drive from Ceduna to the WA border probably

  • @vbthedog I think he wanted you to say Victoria

  • More like 500 kilometres

  • Its actually 4300 from my door in Sydney to my brother's in Perth.

  • nice 1

  • Perth to Sydney in a Calibra, nice! I want to buy a V2 Monaro and do the same trip.....oneday!

    very cool video :)

  • PS Kingdicko. Yeah, the 42 hours across the Nullarbor is pretty believable, Eucla to Perth can be done in just over 10 hours, including the time it takes to change a flat tyre! ;-)

  • Hey vbthedog, thanks for putting that up! I lived in Eucla, near the SA/WA border for a few years and a few of those clips made me very 'homesick'!!!!

Especially around 2:30, sweeping across the Eucla pass to the coast in the distance, and 2:53 which is just over the SA border by about 12 ks looking back towards WA... ahhh, what a place... :-)

  • Great video

  • I loved Perth when I went to visit my anty n uncle. Twas great! lol. Can't wait to go again!

  • That was a really good video :) apart from the holden bit hahaha.. i now want to take that drive for myself haha. good job :)

  • we did this and then toured around south WA, did about 10500kms in three weeks. speaking to some people they did the nullarbor crossing in 42 hours no stops!

  • i wanna do this in a bus with 11 of my closest friends. cant think of a funner thing.

  • That is so cool.

  • KOOL

  • We made the same trip, in november 2005 and we went all around Australia in 6 months, 26000km.

  • ive been on the actual boat @ 3.41!!!!!!!! Also ive seen the 12 apostles!!!

  • Great stuff -- but I think you'll find Perth to Sydney is less than 5000 KILOMETRES (5000 MILES is 8000 kilometres!) It's a big country -- but not that big ...
